Dark. Deep. Driving.

Ethereal and psychedelic textures meet the hypnotic pull of progressive sounds, IDM influences and darker, driving rhythms. Emotive, immersive and full of contrast, MAKARII moves between light and shadow, intensity and release. Her sound evolves with the energy of the night, but the intention remains the same: music that makes you feel something.

Born in Hamburg, MAKARII's journey has taken her from the Mediterranean coast of Jávea to London's underground music scene and back to Germany, before returning to Spain, where she is now based. Behind the decks since 2016 and producing since 2023, she made her debut with I've Always Loved You on her own label, On the Record, followed by After Cosmic Rain, released on Trybe Records in 2025.

Beyond the decks, MAKARII brings her passion for music, creativity and human connection into everything she does. As Head of Wellbeing at Suru Music, she is part of the core team shaping the label's vision. She is also an art therapist, sound healer and coach for artists, and hosts the Born to Create podcast, exploring the intersection of creativity, consciousness and the human experience.

With new productions and collaborations on the horizon, MAKARII continues to develop a sound that is deeply personal, expressive and constantly evolving. When she's not immersed in music or creative projects, life slows down at home in Jávea with her three dogs.
